Botanical Art Workshop - White Flowers

Painting white flowers with watercolour can often be a challenging without the use of white paint. In this workshop Jessie will guide you through her step-by-step process to create your own beautiful botanical painting of a white flower, working from a printed photograph.
You will gain an understanding in:
- How to draw and transfer your drawing onto watercolour paper
- Observing light, shade, form and differing greys
- Basic colour theory and how to mix different greys
- How to create your own grey colour chart
- Watercolour techniques and how to use them on white flowers including wet-on-wet, wet on dry and dry brush
- How to avoid a muddy painting
This workshop welcomes students of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced. You will return home with your own beautiful watercolour painting of a white flower, the knowledge and confidence to create your own painting as well as notes to help guide you.
All art materials provided as well as tea, coffee and a delicious lunch by Little Tienda Cafe! Just bring yourself and a notebook if you'd like to take notes.

If you need to withdraw from a private lesson or workshop, 7 days notice is required prior to the class for a full refund, minus booking fees.
Less than 7 days notice entitles a 50% refund only.
No refunds or credit notes will be issued for withdrawals with less than 24 hour notice is given.
