Do you..

Dream of painting the beautiful plants in your garden, but lack the confidence?

Love botanical art but aren’t sure where to start in creating your own?

Struggle to find the time and now it's been months without a paint brush in your hand?

015_CatBlack2025_JessieFord_WEB.jpg

Hi, I'm Jessie!

For over a decade I've specialised in botanical art. Over this time I've travelled with my art, attended residencies, held exhibitions, received two prestigious awards and taught hundreds of students around the globe and at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne (where I first learnt botanical art myself!).

I absolutely love how botanical art allows us to observe and celebrate nature through creativity and I'm now so excited to spread my love of botanical art through this course!

It's super common to feel stuck when you're getting started.

  •  Perhaps you've tried, but feel overwhelmed with watercolour.

  • Maybe you hesitate to start because you're worried it won't look good - or you were told you weren't 'good' at art in school?

  • Or you've begun artworks, only to loose motivation...and alas that artwork is still sitting in a drawer, yet to be finished 'one day'.

If any of this is you - don't worry - it's been me too!

When I started out, it felt like I was fumbling through my paintings with a lot of guess work. I struggled with self-doubt, procrastination and found myself starting projects but never finishing them.

Over the years, I've developed and honed my Four Step Process that makes the painting pathway clear. I've learnt small mindset shifts to overcome self doubt and found ways to get inside the mind of watercolour so that now I feel capable of painting any subject I set my mind to.

In this course I share all of this. If you've been looking for a creative boost with clear guidance and positive encouragement then this course is for you. It will have you creating artworks you love and without the self-doubt.

You won't be learning alone, I'll be right there with you.
