2 Day Workshop - Painting Wattle

In this two-day workshop Jessie will guide you through her step-by-step process to create your own botanical painting of wattle, working from a photograph. The species of wattle will depend on availibilty in the lead up to the workshop.
Over the two days you will be shown how to master important watercolour techniques, specifically for use on botanicals, while learning the process of layering watercolours to achieve a realistic painting.
What will I learn?
• How to create an outline drawing from a photograph
• Basic colour theory
• Matching and mixing the correct colour
• Using masking fluid
• Watercolour techniques including wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry and dry brush
• How to avoid muddy watercolour paintings

If the Government requires our studios to remain closed at the time of your session, we will issue you a full refund (or credit voucher valid for three years, if you prefer).If you need to withdraw from a private lesson or workshop, 7 days notice is required prior to the class for a full refund, minus booking fees.
Less than 7 days notice entitles a 50% refund only.
No refunds or credit notes will be issued for withdrawals with less than 24 hour notice is given.Transfers allowed.
